I already had a few of these - they are just great. Much more convenient than having to take your instrument out of the case every time you want to play.

For anyone who has a small space and needs to reserve space this is great, or just someone who likes to keep everything organized and off this floor this rocks. Just make sure you put it on a stud. I have two and they work great I might get another to hang a Hockey stick. If your even thinking about this product just get it, you'll thank yourself. I hope your shipping experience will be better took almost 3 months cause they were back ordered. Call the sales provider and check the status.

So much simpler and faster than fussing with an instrument case and putting on/taking off the shoulder rest every practice time, gentle on the instrument, and plenty sturdy. We've been using 2 of them for over a year (one by a 7 year old) and haven't had a drop yet. It's great to be able to grab our instruments when we've just got a minute or two to play.

Installed very easily and looks nice on the wall. It seems to support the violin very well and although it can slip a little bit and hang slightly crooked if you don't put the instrument in far enough, it doesn't seem likely to ever completely fall out.

I bought this and attached it to the wall with the included hardware. It was very easy to install. It is a nice looking violin hanger, and keeps the instrument at hand yet out of harm's way. There is also a place to hang the bow. Highly recommended.

This is an outstanding product. It's sturdy, and it holds the instrument away from the wall. What more could I ask for? I've thrown away all my other instrument wall-mounts and replaced them with these String Swings.

This hangar is an excellent accessory for string players who want easy access to their violin. Besides looking professional, the hangar keeps your instrument out of harm's way; thus, it is a great alternative to just setting your instrument down on a chair or your music stand. It would be a great gift for your string player friends.

When I am at home it seems better to just hang the violin on the wall rather than putting it back in the case or leaving it out. It is very simple to put up and it pretty much works like the picture shows so no surprise. Very nice to have and I highly recommend it.

Sturdy hanger, however, the bow holder or the base needs to be a hair longer. I like to leave my shoulder rest attached when I hang up my violin. As such, the rest touches the wall and if I accidentally move the bow, it bangs into the violin. I baby my violin, so I do not use the bow-holder at all now.

If this was just about ¼ inch longer, it would be the perfect hanger.

This is a good, simple wall mount for holding a violin. As you can see from the photos, the bow holder is just off the end of one of the bracket arms - I'd prefer something a bit further spaced from the mount. A couple caveats for potential buyers:
- I bought two, and they were significantly different in color (seemed like two types of wood rather than two pieces from the same type of tree)
- The pictures above also show a stand mount version - this is not included in this package
- Includes drywall anchors
- One of my violins fits well, while the other has a slightly larger space between the G string peg and the end of the fingerboard. This space means the violin sits tilted unless you put the base of the fingerboard all the way up on the center part of the U. A slightly narrower bracket would have fit a bit better.
