This story is erotic and fast paced with more chemistry than you can handle. The suspense is exciting and will keep you guessing till the very end. The author really delivered!!

Nicki DiStefano needs a new dancer for her club if she is going to make it on the strip. She needs a sexy guy who will cause the ladies to melt. So when she hires Mark Sullivan she has to worry about her own melting factor when it comes to the virile dancer. The heat that she feels from him could melt the polar ice capes...and the icy protective wall she has around herself. But will she still feel the same way when she uncovers Mark's secret?

Mark is working undercover for the FBI in what they think is a mobster run strip club. But Nicki seems to innocent despite the fact she might be in bed with the mob. Well, he will get in and do what he has to...hopefully not having to take too much of his clothes off in the process. But, plans are never easily pulled off when you don't count on the burning passion that he feels for the potential bad girl. Will he be able to do his duty and keep his heart out of trouble...or will cupid have other plans?

Ms. Bradley has picked up where "Bound and Determined" ended with her latest effort. Mark and Nicki's attraction is Vegas hot without being Vegas "over the top." The storyline is unique and Ms. Bradley manages to pull this off with quirky characters and steamy attraction. Mark is one of my all time favorite romance hero's and the reader will find themselves drawn into this make believe world until the final page.

Mark Sullivan was framed for embezzlement, and while he has been cleared of all charges, the real criminals have not been caught - at least, not all of them. When Mark's brother-in-law, Rafe, offers him the chance to go undercover to prove the Mafia connection in the money laundering scheme that nearly sent him to prison, Mark jumps at the chance.

One look at the owner of the strip club he is to work at undercover, and he knows he will never be able to keep it strictly business. But getting involved with the beautiful and feisty Nicola `Nicki' DiStefano is a bad idea, considering she is one of the prime suspects!

Shelley Bradley's novel, Strip Search, is the sequel to her book Bound and Determined. While the story in Strip Search is greatly enhanced if the reader has already read the first book, Strip Search can easily be enjoyed independently, without the reader being lost or confused. Bradley does a terrific job of giving us the parts of Mark's history from the first book that are pertinent to the story in the sequel so that a new reader would never even realize this book is a sequel.

With the character of Mark Sullivan, Shelley Bradley takes all of the stereotypical ideas of a `nice guy' and successfully squashes them. Apparently, nice guys can also be bad boys! Mark is an anti-hero, tortured by his past, and torn between his feelings for Nicki, his desire to bring the criminals to justice, and his fear of love and commitment.

Nicki is a brassy, independent woman who has finally found her niche after floundering for years. Determined to make her club a success, she has forgone romance for years. There are many women who could identify with Nicki's determination to succeed and the sacrifices she makes towards that end. Even while she has established herself as a business woman to be reckoned with, she is able to maintain a softness and empathy for those she loves that keeps her character very real.

While the romance between Mark and Nicki is always forefront, the suspense is equally prominent, ensuring a multi-layered story that defies being classified as strictly romance. For readers who enjoy a touching romance with an excellent plot, Strip Search is a must read!

This is the first Shelley Bradley book I have ever read, and I am hooked. Mark Sullivan is the ultimate hero! He is hotter than hot! This book had me running to the freezer to cool down! Between an undercover investigation that keeps you riveted and an undeniable passion that keeps you in flames, you will not want to leave your house. You will just want to read more...

Mark Sullivan has been recruited by his brother-in-law, as a favor to the FBI, to infiltrate a Vegas nightclub. It seems that one of the agents already in place hasn't been heard from in three months and the feds want to send in a civilian to see what is happening. There is just one catch...the nightclub in question is actually a male strip club run by a supposed Mafia boss' niece. Mark's assignment? He is to get close to the niece and then get into her computer; two things Mark knows he is qualified to handle. He is a bit unsure about the male dancer role he will have to assume but agrees anyway. Mark decides that getting close to the niece will not be a hardship since looking at her photograph instantly garnered his attention.

Nicki DiStefano needs a new dancer and she needs him now! The men she has been auditioning just aren't what she is looking for. Figuring the next dancer trying out will be another loser, she settles in for a boring afternoon. Watching Mark walk through the curtain and onto the stage, Nicki can't believe her eyes! Before her is a living, breathing Adonis and her curiosity gets the best of her. Mark Gabriel doesn't have a resume, but what he does have is a wonderful set of pectorals and the best looking dimples she has ever seen. During their interview, Nicki questions Mark on his ability to flirt with the female customers and Mark tries out his skills on Nicki. She almost falls under his spell and finally agrees to see Mark dance. And dance he does! Hot and bothered after the audition ends and desperately trying not to show it, Nicki calmly tells Mark she will be in touch.

Feeling extremely smug, Mark knows he has her. All he has to do now is get Nicki to trust him, and his job is done. Mark doesn't count on the feelings Nicki stirs inside him, nor does he count on her stubbornness to fight what she feels for him. To add fuel to the fire, there is the small matter of trying to find who is doctoring Nicki's books and transferring huge amounts of money to bogus accounts. While Mark doesn't want Nicki to be guilty of such devious crimes, he doesn't put anything past her or her family. Confusion reigns, however, when things begin to happen to endanger Nicki almost immediately after Mark arrives.

STRIP SEARCH kept me spellbound and on the edge of my seat from the time I started reading it until I read the very last word. As far as heroes go, Mark Sullivan has to be one of my favorites. He was burned by his ex-wife and still leery of females, but his attraction to Nicki couldn't be denied. Nicki, on the other hand, is one stubborn but loyal heroine. I can't blame her for either since she knows that the employees and her club depend on her. This aside, the chemistry between Mark and Nicki is undeniable and makes for an extremely torrid affair that will leave readers sweating! Add in the elements of intrigue, suspense, and downright surprise, and I was hooked.

STRIP SEARCH, as far as novels go, really delivers. I couldn't put it down. As a sequel to BOUND AND DETERMINED, Shelley Bradley has created a fast paced, highly erotic story that will leave readers wanting more. I highly recommend STRIP SEARCH to any and all readers and I look forward to reading more books by Shelley Bradley.

I have been anxiously awaiting for the follow up to Bound and Determined! I was thrilled to see Mark get his own book. I've been dreaming of him for months! Mark is so incredibly hot! He makes me melt like an ice cream cone on the Fourth of July.

And speaking of the Fourth, Mark and Nicki shoot sparks off of each other! Those two are hotter than a firecracker! We are talking Tomahawk Cruise Missle Hot! Strip Search is delicious. The heat level intensifies in Strip Search and I was left all tingly and wildly aroused. Ignore the sugary cover because inside is a thrilling, erotic and searing read! I highly recommend Strip Search and am already panting for the next book from Shelley Bradley!

In order to determine if a Vegas strip club is a mob front, Mark Sullivan goes undercover as a stripper with hopes of getting a peek at the club's books. He's aware that the club's owner is the sexy offspring of a reputed mobster, and decides that he'll stop at nothing to bring the bad guys down, including seduction to determine where her loyalties lie. Burned by an ex-wife who set him up for a fall, Mark is even more determined to bring them to justice since this was the ring that she was involved with.

Nicki DeStefano reluctantly entered into a deal with her uncle Pietro to open the Vegas male strip club. Night after night, the club is hopping and appears to be making money hands over foot, but Nicki isn't seeing it and since her accountant was gunned down in a drive by shooting, her uncle has placed Blade Bocelli, one of his trusted associates as her temporary accountant. Mark and Blade clash from the start; while Mark and Nicki immediately enter into a torrid (and very sizzling) affair). Both start to feel something deeper than passion for each other, but trust does not come easy for Mark as he holds his ex-wife's misdeeds against any woman he comes into contact with, and Nicki cannot compete with a bad memory. But with a man with so many trust issues, does she really want to get involved any deeper?

Bradley's novel is filled with intrigue and lots of intense passion between the leads. They exude chemistry and despite the number of couplings, the reader won't feel like they are getting an anatomy lesson - the story and characters are all so well developed. I didn't realize it was a sequel when I picked it up, and after reading this one, I am intrigued enough to pick up "Bound and Determined" which is the story of Mark's sister Kerry and PI partner Rafe.

This is my second novel by Shelley Bradley. I enjoyed BOUND AND DETERMINED and couldn't wait to read STRIP SEARCH. The plot met all my expectations and the eroticism exceeded them. Mark Sullivan was the perfect alpha male whose aggressiveness in the bedroom was sometimes intimidating. However, Nicki relished in the rough and tumble quality to his lovemaking, so I guess that's okay. I like having a glimpse of Rafe and Kerry's life since BOUND AND DETERMINED and can't wait for Bradley's third installment which will hopefully feature Blade and Lucia, Nicki's sister.

This is a good, solid romance story and also contains some very steamy sex scenes. The author did a great job with these characters, they are real and not cardboard, and yet bigger than life enough to make them interesting. The hero is seriously hot (where can I find one?) and delivers on his promise in the bedroom scenes as well. This author is not afraid to push the envelope and go a little further in her descriptions of bedroom play - not for the prudish. But if you enjoy a steamy read, this one's for you! Enjoy!

I purchased this book thinking I was getting steamy erotica. What I got was a freaking romance novel similar to the Harlequin crap. The sex scenes left me cold and dry!!! Very disappointing, unless you like the sappy romances found in your local drug store. If you want hot erotica this is so not it! Instead, try anything by Lora Leigh, definitely not this mess.
