I love them....you can wear them with shorts,pants,jeans,it looks great with anything. And they are very confortable. If purchasing the white ones be sure you have a shoe cleaner.

The instep is a bit tight for me to get them on (not unusual for my feet, but still I think most people would find them very snug) but once on they are quite comfortable and are definitely not slipping loose. I have a pair of Converse boat shoes as well and the quality and durability of these striders is better. I love 'em.

I ordered these for my husband. He likes them, but thinks that the heel end of the shoe is a bit wide/loose. Great casual looks and these slip-ons are very comfortable.

THERE ARE SO MANY TYPES, BRANDS AND STYLES OF SNEAKERS OUT THERE ITS HARD FOR A GUY LIKE ME TO FIND SOMETHING SIMPLE. IT IS SO REFRESHING TO HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY AND WEAR THE SPERRY TOP SLIDER SLIP ON. IT IS A COMFORTABLE PIECE OF FOOTWEAR THAT IS BOTH STYLISH AND CASUAL. I CAN WEAR THEM WITH SHORTS AS WELL AS LONG PANTS (BUT THEN I LOOK LIKE THE SKIPPER FROM GILLIGAN'S ISLAND).THIS IS A STURDY SHOE IN A SOLID BLUE COLOR THAT IS HARD TO FIND IN RETAIL STORES (BECAUSE ORNATE AND PATTERNED SLIP ONS DOMINATE THE MARKETPLACE). GET A PAIR OR TWO AND YOU WILL SURELY ENJOY HOW THEY FEEL ON YOUR FOOT, UNLESS YOU HAVE 2 FEET.

I received these nice boat shoes almost by "return mail". :) They are a snug fit, but that's the way boat shoes should be. You don't want shoes to come off when you're switching to the storm jib and/or reefing the Main in heavy weather. I'm delighted at their color, nice thick rubber sole and plaid design. Kinda preppy and very nautical. LOL

Even though I bought these shoes for my sailboat, I soon found myself wearing them everywhere. They are so comfortable, no shoe laces to deal with, they breath extremely well, they dry super quick, they have a thick removable inner sole and they do a reasonable job on a wet foredeck. They are dressy enough for business casual and cool enough to wear with shorts. Extremely versatile. Bought my first par at West marine, so this Amazon price is really good, I paid like $74.

Since the soles are made of special rubber mine do wear down at the heel more quickly than your average sneaker.

Not all Sperry slip ons are created equal, the Taupe Slip ons have the special sole and are higher quality than most of the generic slip ons, even though they look the same.

Great shoes, awesome price and it's amusing to see these shoes I've been wearing for years to now be in "style."

These sneakers were delivered in record time! I received them BEFORE the earliest projected estimated delivery date. I find them to be very comfortable to wear.

I've worn these shoes for years - they really are great shoes. But amazon is running out of all the styles and sizes, are these shoes being discontinued?

I have owned from 2 to 4 pairs of Top-Siders continuosly for over 30 years, wearing them daily for casual sports, sailing (really), and because of their comfort and the fact that the soles do not pick up any debris I wear them as house slippers as well.
I have been in the water (overboard) several times with Top-Siders on and they have not hampered my swimming ability and they do not come off unless you want them to.
