Whenever Zeno Hromin writes an article or a book, just go out and buy it.
Not too many people on this planet are willing to share their passion and knowledge like Zeno. You can't ask for more than this!
He makes it clear that you have to put your time in, but also provides powerful insights that will
dramatically reduce the readers' learning curve, regardless of experience. Here, he continues to share
more of his own personal knowledge as well as that of some of the top sharpies out there.
Bravo, Zeno, and thanks from another grateful beach fisherman.

I believe that all of Zeno's books are a must have. He is clearly an expert and with his captivating straight talk, that is how he writes. Information in a straight forward manner, in plain English, for a fast and easy read, and he even throws in a chuckle here and there that really brings you into the situation. They are such a good read that I actually enjoy reading them several times.

I liked this book a lot because it talks about live bait fishing in some sections. A wonderful section on fishing with live eels and artificals as well. This gives a lot of information, some of it complex, so it takes me a while to read it, I fish, then I go back and read this book again. I learn a lesson from fishing wrong, then I come back and read this book again. I kinda of go back and forth with fishing and reading this book, as I have questions it seems this book answers most of them. Many of the people on the fishing forums are afraid to tell you the secrets, that are simply laid out in this book if you have the patience to read it.

If you write a 3rd book, I can only make suggestions to addd more diagrams. Again this book is next to perfect with all the information it provides. Maybe I am looking for a surf book for beginners instead of what this is.....

First of all get Zenos first book The Art of Surfcasting with Lures. You will read that in like a day. Then start this one. Hard to put this one down too. Great for the offseason.Very inspirational along with good insights to improve your odds. Interesting all the prespectives from the different experts. Everyone will learn something from this book. Becasuse no one can possibly have perfected all the techniques illustrated here.

Zeno out did himself this time.The book is a must read, informative and to the point.I recommend this book to all surfcasters who want to improve their game and score some trophy stripers. Nice going Z.

Both Zeno's books are must owns for any fishing book collection. If your looking to catch your personal best next season or just want to learn how to have your pick at the best fish in the tide, this book will show you how. Definitely one of the top surf fishing books I ever read... and reread. Now I need to clean my reels. -Mike Sudal

Zeno has gathered some of the best striped bass fisherman on the East coast to share their secrets for cathcing big bass. If you are a serious striped bass fisherman then this book has to be in your collection. It is a book that you will read more than once and every time you do, you will find another tip for your arsenal. It will become a classic with time.

Great Winter read for the Surfcaster who is having withdrawels from visiting the surf. Zeno and is fellow contributors give an insightful look at the factors to look for and techniques needed to find that big striper. Anyone who fishes the surf will find something useful in this book to sharpen their skills at this sport. Well done Zeno and your fellow authors for putting together this great read for the surfcaster.

Read the first few chapters... what a great start for a great book.
It also has some pics along with some facts about the fishing for stripers!

I recommend this book to anybody who likes to read about Surfishing!
