another glimpse into the life & creative genus of our beloved "rebel".......accoustic & personel ; backed-up by the talented, nick pynn on accoustic lead guitar/violin/dulcimer. this 75 minute live cd is pure joy & a perfect sister to steve's last cd , "poetic justice"....... why is this legend , loved by millions world wide, so hard to find ? thanks amazon .... for at least giving us a taste!

Cockney Rebel has always been one of my favorites and I bought this acoustical CD to compliment the collection I already have. All I can say is Wow! I feel as if I've found a 'new' group to listen to. Harley has taken his old stand-by's and given them a new life. A definite must buy!

A superb re-creation of a magical evening.,

This album is as perfect a re-creation of a live show as I have ever heard. Having attended the show in question, I was pleased, if not surprised to hear that Steve has even left in a little mistake he made, which would have been simple to edit out.It says much for Steve's integrity that he chose not to sanitize the recording, but left it exactly as it was. All his best work is here, including a stunning version of 'Sebastian' that still leaves me breathless, even 12 months after the original show.

Steve -its all about the music,

Being a long time fan of Steve's, I knew that this CD would either prove to my friends and myself how special his songs were that they were always much more than just some "Glam Rock" period of time he fell into. This Cd does is the proof and so much more ..I was even taken aback by the shear beauty of his early gems that I knew by heart played in such a different style yet some sounding even more passionate than the originals with all their trimmings. Steve Harley sadly (for us) never found a fan base here in the USA ... and on a side note also pick up his 77' LP/cd "Hobo"
