I'm a huge fan of providing spoiler free reviews, so there will be no spoiling here!

First off, I loved this book. There are so many different reasons so I guess I'll just start.

I definitely don't come from money, so having a main character that is driven to do something that ashames her to make her tuition is something that hits close to home. I never posed as a nude model, but I did work two full time jobs for a lot of my college years just to pay my way through to a degree. That made me love Quinn.

I love Quinn's fiesty personality. When you're that scarred and jaded, you can't risk waving your heart around for someone to grab and rip in half. It's her defense mechanism and I loved it. I felt for her and her quips kept me giggling. Torrin proved to be the perfect contrast. He isn't as rude as Quinn can be, but he definitely isn't afraid to give her a hard time right back. He's thoughtful, kind, caring, talented, and he is also my new book boyfriend. Sorry ladies, I call dibs.

I thought that Skye did an excellent job creating a character like Quinn, because by the end of the novel, you can see her growth as a person.

I should also mention that this book does have some schmexiness in it, and I applaud Brooklyn for a job well done. There's nothing worse than a romance book that gives you the same gross feeling as visiting say, a hospital or stepping barefooted into dog poop. Sadly, I've read a few books with sterile feeling love scenes. Honestly, this isn't the case here. Brooklyn definitely knows how to write a love scene that induces giggles and butterflies.

If you are looking for a great read, that will give you ALL OF THE FEELS, pick up Stripped. You wont regret it!

It's been one year since Quinn Montgomery's sister Zoe killed herself. Her sister was her best friend, she idolized her, they told each other everything, or so she thought. Without leaving a note, Quinn has made her own assumptions regarding her sister's reasons for doing what she did, which boils down to having her heart crushed by a guy. So what does Quinn do? She vows to never fall in love, to never put herself in a position where a guy can break her heart..........save yourself..........what she hears her sister tell her in her dreams, and what Quinn believes means save yourself from falling in love.

Stripped is a very well written story and the plot was interesting. I loved Torrin. I would have liked to have seen more details about his life. He was hot, he was patient, he didn't take Quinn's cramp, and he wound up being really chivalrous in the end. Quinn was another story. I just couldn't bring myself to like her, despite feeling sorry for her. She was really a bitch. Part of it had to do with what she had been through, and part of it was just her personality. I thought maybe I would grow to like her as the book progressed, but I didn't. I am sure there are plenty of people that will like her, but I just couldn't. That doesn't mean the story isn't good, because it is a good story. I just didn't care for the main character. The romance between Torrin and Quinn was....different. In my opinion, Torrin was a saint to put up with the things he did, and he had plenty of baggage and hurts he was dealing with himself. I was satisfied with the ending and how things worked out, and it would have been even better to have an epilogue that went into a little more detail about where their lives went, though not necessary. It just would have been a bonus.

Wow! What a wonderful, heart wrenching, witty, love story.
I absolutely LOVE Quinn I feel her pain but she still fights everyday to get past it not wanting to find love but when it comes and finds her in the form of a very loving, patient, sweet, and amazing Torrin she slowly opens up. Their witty banter I'd adorable. That's what I loved about their relationship it took time friendship than love, few dates than sex. It's a wonderful change of pace as a reader to watch a relationship blossom not always insta love, insta sex. That's not always necessary in books.
The pain of losing her sister and the upheaval of her families life in the matter of a year is pretty hard on Quinn. She places blame where it shouldn't be but later when faced with the truth she quickly gets over it and let's love in and let me tell you it's a beautiful thing.
One thing I would've LOVED , an epilogue to see what happens to Quinn and Torrin in the future. I'll just believe they have the forever kind of love :)
Buy this book it's a great price and a beautiful read. Wonderfully written and very good flow with the story. I loved it.

The Unofficial Addiction Book Fan Club's Review:

About The Book:

Quinn Montgomery is determined to save her heart. Her sister killed herself over a boy and she's not willing to end up like her sister.
But if grieving for her death sister was not enough she's suffering from her dad's mistakes, too. Bankrupt over that mistake, Quinn is forced to work in the college her father was working as a nude model. She's afraid of being naked in front of a bunch of students, probably, her age, but it's the only way to keep her place at her college.
However, everything changes Quinn's world when she meets Torrin. Top varsity oarsman at the University she's working, Quinn has a hard time avoiding him. Letting someone in, might be the only thing that Quinn has to work hard with. Despite this, Torrin and Quinn do not even imagine how connected they are and when they both realize what links them together, it may destroy them.

Review:

Brooklyn Skye's novel captivated us. This New Adult novel is the perfect story to read this Summer. Full of love, troubles and secrets, this novel would make you want to read even more.

We were heartbroken knowing Quinn was suffering from her sister's death. She was in one piece, but you can sense how the character is suffering inside. Save Yourself. If that was not bad enough, her sister tells her those words before she dies. Save Yourself from boys that make you want to die.
Grieve over a relantionship is a normal stage, so why don't grieve?
