In this third installment of her autobiographical story, Stratford ( I Know You're Hurting ) details her multiple personality disorder and the treatment she continues to undergo. Her disorder, she states, was the result of ritual abuse during her childhood at the hands of Satanists, who actually fostered alter personalities for specific functions. This lengthy volume adds little to existing literature on ritual abuse, including previous books by Stratford herself. Here she tells the digressive and irrelevant stories of many other victims of abuse, such as political prisoners and Lisa Steinberg, but fails in her effort to draw analogies between them and herself. She also spends an entire chapter relating in laborious detail the favorite toys of "Baby," the first of her alter personalities to make itself known. One gets the impression from Stratford that there must be hundreds of thousands of Satan worshipers out there abusing and programming children who then repress these memories. Stratford may feel that she is "stripped naked" by telling her story. Her personal suffering aside, readers will be left hoping the striptease has ended and there's nothing more to expose.

It's very sad when those who have been abused are sought after to be discredited. It sure makes it hard to be a vicitim and not be belived because people are always out to discredit things they don't want to belive happen. Stripped Naked is a testimony of one woman's walk through Mulitiple Personalites.. a ray of hope for others like her out there.

For those of you who actually believe she went through all this, and think that anyone who speaks against her like she is some kind of saint, look for yourself, everything about her is unreal, she wrote another book claiming to be Raped, abused and forced into satanic rituals, then she claimed to be a concentration camp survivor. I understand that these books she has written may have touched a lot of people but there is no proof other than her own words, that she is who she claims to be.

I would have to agree that there are many in Denial about Lauren Stratford. There were many inside and outside the church who wanted to discredit and demonize her. For those of you who deny her story, do you deny the existence of pornography and satanism? Do you believe they exist? Lauren's story needs to be told and told again, and who among us, if having gone through the same thing she did, would have not maybe behaved in the manner which she did. The abuse she went through, including all kinds of pornographic and satanic ritual abuse. I dare anyone to ever be "normal" again. But she won through the power of Jesus Christ. And if there's anything Satan wants to do, it is to discredit the name of Jesus Christ. The investigations can go on all day long, but the Truth will always win out!!! Lauren's story will touch your heart. You need only to put on love and compassion.
