Great CD,

I really don't know why some people threw away this cd. It is great, surely not perfect (but the Stones were never "perfect"), but really full of life. Some songs like "Dead Flowers" or "Let it Bleed" are sure way better than the original version and there's much to listen. The bluesy and country licks in their music are very much in evidence, here. Buy it without doubts.

This was another great live recording! Made somewhere in Europe. Some were recorded in the studio some were live, all were great. This is the best example of latter Stones live records in my opinion. Although now it was 16 yrs ago. Thats 4 Stones yrs for those keeping up. I Won't go through track by track but Wild horses and Let it Bleed are awesome. So is Dead Flowers. Hell the whole damn thing is great. Pick it up if you don't own it. hope this helped.

I just love it when the media and younger people marvel at today's so called musical artist. Just call me in 45 years or so and let me know how great they are then. There is a difference between musicians and entertainers... Long live the "Stones"!

WOW! I had no idea the Stones could suck so much!,

Don't get me wrong, I love the Rolling Stones. Which is why I wanted to leave this review. Those of you who love this group are probably going to hate this CD. I love these guys' music, old and new. But this CD was atrocious! They really didn't sound like themselves. I kept trying to listen to the CD: I'd have it on in the car and, after a few minutes, I'd find myself thinking, "What a horrible cover!" . . . only to remember that it isn't a cover: it's really them. The whole CD sounded like some crappy band was doing a Stones tribute. DO NOT BUY THIS!!! :P

An unmitigated POS,
By Bill Board (God's Wrath, Ohio) - See all my reviews

The one reason - THE ONLY 'ONE' REASON - for owning this CD is for the "novelty" number, Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone." I have already remarked millions of times before that the Stones should have scooped up Mick Ronson after Mick Taylor quit, but, for reasons yet discernable, they chose Ron Wood instead, blah-blah-blah...But the one unmitigated, astoundingly unforgivable, irredeemible "final nail in the coffin" was/is Chuck Leavell. It is absolutely a travesty that, for some inexplicible reason, Mick, Keef, Charlie & Co (who, beginning life as "The Rolling Stones," had the late, great genius of Ian Stewart as pianist) chose this..."molly hatchett reject" for their "keyboard player/'musical director'..." And for those of us who taught ourselves guitar and/or bass, jamming along with "Spider & The Fly" off "Out Of Our Heads": the abominably "stripped" version of that gem-of-a-song on this...thing will honestly make you cringe and wonder, "Is this really the same song?" And the answer will, of course, be a resounding "NO!"
