I ordered this book for a class and am very excited with all of the possibilities for fabric and patterns. Your imagination will go wild with the color selections and designs. I haven't sewn curves for quite some time and these templates made it very easy to accomplish. Directions are explicit and I have used fabrics in my stash that I never thought would go into a quilt. I will definitely make more than one of these. Go for it. Such fun and yours will be an original.

An excellent book. The pictures and explanations of this quilting technique were very well written, and easily understandable. The end result was a quilt that looked very complicated but in reality was easy to make. I would highly recommend this book to any quilter.

After I opened the package and thumbed through the first few pages, I just had to hurry and get to my sewing room to start one of these fabulous quilts! I could hardly quit until it was finished! It turned out just great, and I've received lots of compliments. I seldom make more than one quilt from a pattern, but I'm going to make more of these -- the imagination goes wild, thinking of the combinations you can make. Get this book!

I live in Singapore. I purchased this book for my friends who had taken the class with me. We are all making second quilts we had so much fun. This book allows the quilter to use fabric pieces to advantage, esp those that might not be the right color or print for the quilt originally purchased for. Every quilt is unique. They are beautiful with monochromatic or complimentary color schemes. My favorites are the brights.

This book is really good. It shows and explains things very well. I was in a group of people doing a class with this book and templates. It went well. Everyone's was different. And no one was having any problems understanding how it all worked. :)

The quilts in this book are just beautiful. As all quilters can tell by looking at the quilts, there is a lot of work that goes into them. This book is not meant for the lazy quilter, you have to put your skills to work. If you can sew curves, you can do this. I love the pictures and the instructions are pretty straight forward. Definately a great addition to my library.

Very pleased with Stripes N Curves. Instructions are very good, lots of in color examples and step by step instruction. Can't wait to start one of the quilts. Excellent way of using up pieces from my large stash.

If you love playing with fabrics and color, this is the book, and the technique, for you. Louisa's instructions are so clear and easy to follow, you'll get fabulous results. I recommend reading the book cover to cover before you start -- not hard to do since the author's style is friendly, conversational, and fun. Then go shopping, or dive into your stash, and start to play.

I've now made two quilts from this book. Everyone who sees them is amazed at the seeming complexity and beauty of the designs and the interplay of the colors. I was always intimidated by sewing curves, but this method makes it simple and fairly foolproof. But I was most surprised by how much fun it was. I found myself literally running from the cutting table to the design wall to try out various placements for each block. I've been quilting for less than four years and the projects went together exactly as described in the book. Follow the directions and you'll be amazed with what you can do.

Beautifully illustrated, well done instructions to make some very striking quilts. Had taken a class based on this book - I was very impressed with the outcome and not difficult at all.
