Purchased a Tempur-pedic mattress, but while living in an apartment didn't have room for a full size bed frame, so the company we purchased the mattress from supplied us with an inexpensive metal frame that was terrible. The bed moved, and squeaked every time you rolled over or got in or out of the bed. This frame solved the problem. It is very solid, with practically no movement at all. I would recommend it.

I originally had a $50 bed frame that I bought when I bought king sized mattresses. That frame did not work well at all. It bowed out so that the mattress was not fully supported on one side, and eventually, my husband's side of the bed was lower than mine! (lol) It moved or made noise when you sat on the bed. Also, we had begun to think there was a problem with the mattresses themselves, which were not cheap.

We were willing to pay a higher price for this bed frame, and we were not disappointed! This frame is very solid and sturdy. It fully supports the mattress, with no lower sides or sagging spots. We now have no issues at all with our mattresses and have even slept better with this frame. I think the key is the 9 feet on this frame, which provide excellent support. The frame is totally quiet, and the bed stays in place at all times.

The frame was easy to assemble. I did it myself. The instructions weren't super-detailed, but assembly was somewhat intuitive where the instructions may have been lacking.

Con: Our frame came with slider feet only, no rollers at all. I wanted rollers to make the bed easier to move and didn't get any. It's very difficult to move the bed.

Unrelated to the frame itself, I placed my order on October 25, 2009 and paid for 2 day shipping. I received it on November 13, 2009. My fee for quick shipping was refunded (at my request) and Amazon kept me apprised of the status. The item just wasn't actually kept readily in inventory at that time.

I appreciate that this product is made in the USA, and I appreciate that it is much sturdier than the free frame that came with the bed. I do not, however, appreciate that Amazon's picture of the Full/Twin size misleads you to believe that it has 9 legs. Fortunately, it turns out that I don't even need the 9 legs for a Full size mattress--even with my 200lb. boyfriend tossing and turning on it. The metal is much thicker than what you'll get Made in China, and the cross bar and side rails are wider. I am very pleased with the purchase, but I still wish it was a little less expensive.

I am very satisfied with this bed frame. I just bought a new bed for my 15 yo daughter--and most full size frames are really twin size that are extended to fit the larger mattress. Problem with that is, is it loses its support with the larger mattress. The heaviest part of the body has no support, for most full size frames do not have a center support bar. I had to learn this lesson the hard way--after returning my original $45 bed frame, I purchased this one. My daughter loves this frame. Her bed and headboard is very stable. I know that I will get the most value from this new bed (mattress & boxspring) because it is well supported.

purchsed this frame in king for use with a new low profile latex bed. the shipment was perect and ahead of schedule. highly recommend.
