4.0 out of 5 stars Kaskade - Strobelight Seduction
I have been a big fan of Kaskade's for a few years now ever since randomly stumbling upon one of his first albums. I love his original CD's - where he produces/creates the music himself - much more so than just DJ-in-the-mix-CD's. It's much more difficult to create the music yourself.

2.0 out of 5 stars I was so hopeful!
I have been a Kaskade fan ever since he was an extremely under ground DJ in San Fran. I have been to more shows than I can count. I have yet to go see Kaskade and been disappointed by his performance.
This CD however is a BIG disappointment for me, A lot of the songs (pose, step one two, etc) just seem like they were thrown in there cause he had to make the CD...

4.0 out of 5 stars Kaskade - Strobelight Seduction, June 20, 2008

I have been a big fan of Kaskade's for a few years now ever since randomly stumbling upon one of his first albums. I love his original CD's - where he produces/creates the music himself - much more so than just DJ-in-the-mix-CD's. It's much more difficult to create the music yourself.

I had a lot of problems enjoying his last album "Bring the Night", which was way too loud and aggressive for Kaskade, especially compared to all of his other works. This newest release Strobelight Seduction is thankfully back in his regular vein of music!

My only complaints would be that it's too short at just over half-an-hour long. And it's all female vocalists on it. I could have used a male vocal or instrumentals in a couple of the songs. But those complaints are very minor.

'Strobelight Seduction' is very smooth, sexy, late-night listening. Very relaxing. Never cheesey. If you're a fan of Kaskade's music, I'm sure you'll like it. If you're new to his stuff, but you like mellower house, you'll probably dig it too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seduced Indeed !, June 10, 2008
This review is from: Strobelite Seduction (Audio CD)
If CD were weapons, this would be a nuclear warhead! I thought that he could not make an album as good as "Love Mysterious", but, this album manages to be as good, or even better. I loved the hard hitting beats in the track "1,2, step". "Angel on my shoulder" is a dance-rock goodie. The first 30 seconds of "I remember" remind me of tracks from the Radiohead album, "Ok Computer" except it has a lush beat. "Move for me" is mezmerizing and will leave you in a trance. This album is called Strobelight Seduction for a reason-It is very sexy !

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, March 6, 2009

I've been a fan of Kaskade's for years, and his work seems to get better and better with each passing album. If only his original studio albums didn't come so infrequently. This is by far his best original production to date. Kaskade has an uncanny ability to produce the catchiest melodic pop hooks in his songs, and the production is smooth, organic, and unoppressive, with real lyricism and vocals, unlike a few of his electronic music contemporaries. He even throws in an actual guitar or piano on occasion. Overall this album deserves 5 of 5 stars for its perfect blend of house music style, melody, vocals, and musical production.

4.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly smooth, December 28, 2009

The truth is, despite its flaws, this album is certainly worth owning. I can't think of a dance track that's simultaneously as chill and energetic as "I Remember" - it's kind of amazing how Kaskade pulled that one off. "Move For Me," "Angel On My Shoulder," and "Step One Two" are all incredible tracks as well. My complaints are that the album is too short, which is probably explained by my second complaint that some of the tracks are kind of substandard filler - though it's more than made up for by "I Remember" alone. I'm guessing Kaskade simply ran out of material at some point, but it's excusable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly Seducing, September 23, 2008

I am very pleased with Kaskade's latest album, "Strobelite Seduction". If you are familiar with Kaskade's style then you will also be more than satisfied with this album. As for new-comers to Kaskade...the best way to describe his style it late night lounge music. It's not incredibly heavy like techno so if that's what you're looking for this is not for you. However it's not too mellow to fall asleep too. In my opinion its the perfect middle ground.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Electronic/Dance Album!, October 19, 2010

I am new to Kaskade's music but I further searched and listened to some of his music on Youtube and found that it was not just good, but g-rrrreat! He has 2 scoops of great beats in every music bite!

I esp. like the opening track "Move for Me" and also love "I Remember". Step one Two is also great track. And if you like this album, another one to pick up is "The Grande". It's a re-mix album of his hits, but it sounds different enough to be ready-to-go dance mix tape. It's awesome!
Both are great to dance to and also to work out to.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Album Will Seduce You!, February 15, 2009

This album is the definition of Trance. From one track to the next it simply seduces your senses, as the album title suggests. The beats pulsate through you, and the melodies and rythyms just hypnotize you! You listen to the songs and you have to keep hitting repeat. It's like you can't get enough; like an addiction!

True story: Everywhere I go people are always asking me about this album, as I continuously play it in my car. More than 10 people have picked up this album just from hearing it playing in my car! I think that fact should speak for itself.

I was COMPLETELY satisfied with this purchase - which is rare these days with buying CD's. Every track is exceptional. I've never in my life took the time to enter a review on anything, but with this album I had too! It's that good! Kaskade did his thing on this one, and he deserves credit. Get this album!

Kaskade has really out done himself with this album. Usually downtemp and more 'chill', this track dabs more into the world of dance, with a very unique flare of 'Kaskade'. If you haven't been a fan of him, you will be after taking a listen to this album. Every track is great, even the more "Kaskade-ish" downtempo tracks. A GREAT buy!

Kaskade is a great DJ. He always comes up with the most melodic beats and he never fails. I am hooked once again on the first 3 songs of the album. "Move for me" is seriously a song that will make you want to move.

I have been a Kaskade fan ever since he was an extremely under ground DJ in San Fran. I have been to more shows than I can count. I have yet to go see Kaskade and been disappointed by his performance.
This CD however is a BIG disappointment for me, A lot of the songs (pose, step one two, etc) just seem like they were thrown in there cause he had to make the CD longer. The lyrics are silly and don't really evoke any feelings for me.
The real jems on this CD are Angel On My Shoulder (my new theme song), Move For Me, and Your Love Is Black. The rest is just fluff.
