If you have a Stroboframe camera/flash bracket this is a must have. You attach the plate to your camera and the bottom to the bracket, when you need your camera on the bracket it snaps on quickly and back off quickly. I even used it with the plate attached to my camera and screwed it to my tripod. Now I just need the quick release for the flash...

I loaded up on these brackets to use on my whole system. I specifically got them to use on my flash brackets so I could easily and quickly attach or remove the camera from the bracket. I also use them on my tripod and monopod.

I purchased this QRC to complement another to attach my Canon DSLR with a Black Rapid strap and tripod. Works perfectly as I intended it to be! Every amateur or professional photographern should have these.

I fought with this quick release from day one. The problem is there is no room for a screw between the two pieces. The flat head straight screw is so shallow that you can't grip it with a screw driver. I have a large flat screwdriver and still you can't get the grip you need to secure it. So, what happens during your shoot? Your camera starts to slide around, twist and once you straighten your camera back, it's over, the camera moves freely. Stick with the original baseplate!
