Product Description

Nikon's SC-29 TTL sync cord, when mounted to a flash bracket tends to twist or rotate on the mounting screw. Stroboframe offers a solution with a specific Anti-Twist Plate. It acts as an interface between the SC-29 and the bracket, pin-registers to the bracket and conforms to cord's mount. This locks the SC-29 to the bracket to prevent twisting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Most Important!, January 12, 2008
This review is from: Stroboframe Anti-Twist Plate for the Nikon SC-29 Off-camera Flash Cord. (Electronics)
I use this with my SB-600 on the Stroboframe Quick 350 with the Nikon Sc-29 cord. In order to do this you must take a screw driver and remove the top attachment, at that point attach the twist plate in its place, then you will be able to attach the cord and flash to the frame. This holds the flash in place so tight I bet if it accidentally slip off your shoulder it would not come off.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Absolute Necessity!, December 21, 2007

If you are purchasing the Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 Flash Bracket, this piece will become immeasurable in terms of value. It's small, smaller than you may think, but it prevents the SB-800 from spinning on the bracket.

In order to operate, you must first unscrew what is in place below the 350 unit and screw this one in place. (Skill level involved 1-10 = 3). The SB-800 will slide in perfectly and now you will have the advantage of launching flash off-camera as well as on the 350 bracket. HIGHLY, HIHGLY recommended! It's fun and you will enjoy this!

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT WORTH IT, May 7, 2008

This is worth ~12 cents but sells for $12.
If a tool really improves my work or solves a problem, I'm willing to pay a premium. so I ordered it.

This plate doesn't solve the problems of using a SC-29 with stroboframe brackets and later I will upload photos to show the details :
1) The screw of the stroboframe is so long, I need two extra washers to make it fit into the short thread of the SC-29. This bracket is so thin, it doesn't solve this issue
2) The SC-29's external FP input jacks collide with this bracket and make it impossible to mount
3) The bracket is at a 90 degree angle compared to the original foot. The original setup allow to rotate the flash from -90(left) to +90(right) degree. With this bracket it goes from 0(straight forward) to 180degree (straight back).
