About the Author
William C. Cline was first attracted to movie serials in 1936 when he was mesmerized by an episode of Republic's The Vigilantes are Coming. Come 13 years later, Cline embarked on a varied career in the movie business, primarily as a film booker in his hometown of Charolotte, North Carolina. A Long-time columnist for The Big Reel, Cline also wrote the books, In the Nick of Time and Serials-ly Speaking.

Amazing book,

My Grandpa is the author of this book. He was a wonderful man and an extraordinary writer. I didn't get to know him for very long, he died when I was six, but this book helped me get to know him even long after he was gone. I hope you enjoy this book and cherish the man I was lucky enough to call Papaw.
