This book is dynamic and takes you into the mind of a stroke victim. Many times stroke victims cannot relay what they are feeling, but Sandy Simon's been there and tells you what he has experienced and of his constant therapy. On a lecture tour, I look for him to be on The Opra Winfrey show. He has a gift and knows how to add humor to any situation. This book is a MUST reading. It's captivating as you learn Sandy's struggles and perserverance of going on with life. Every person and parish should have this book so they can relay the message to their parishioners. His spirituality comes across easily. One never knows when they can be a care-giver and learn how to cope with any situation.

What a great story! And true. I was in awe. Easy to read and inspiring. Great for the general public, but, as a student of Buddhism and meditation, I found it especially intriguing.

Mr. Simon's message of hope for a stroke survivor is truly, "A Stroke of Genius." I suggest it is reading material for all concerned about their future health. My kudos to Mr. Simon. Well done and well written.

My husband is in his 9th month of recovery from a severe stroke. "A Stroke of Genius" was a wonderful encouragement to both of us. I read one chapter a night to my husband & we found it motivating & definitely felt a oneness with the author. We have passed it on to my husband's therapist who is reading it now. We hope that many more stroke patients will take the time to read this book.
