About the Actor
Jan Davis, a noted specialist in the rehabilitation of stroke survivors, is an occupational therapist and clinical educator with 25 years of experience. Originally trained in the United States, she also received advanced level training during the four years she worked in Switzerland.
A leader in improving the quality of care for stroke survivors, she currently serves on the American Stroke Association's Review Panel for their national publication: The Stroke Connection Magazine.
Ms. Davis has presented over 250 workshops nationally and internationally for physical therapists, occupational therapists and nurses. She has also presented for the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, The American Society of Neurorehabilitation, The American Academy of Neurology and the World Federation of Occupational Therapy.
