When I came to Clearwater Florida 7 years ago, this guy was the first I saw play in a bar. since then I've seen the show several times. Back in 92' he was doing a tribute to SRV and it was awesome. The leads and vocals were chilling. This guy was the true tribute to a legend. He has since expanded his playlist to include all the other greats like Jimi, Clapton, Trower and seems to be maturing as an artist in his own right. This CD is a must for any blues fan. Fantastic cd. Sean Chambers plays and sings like a rougher (in a strong, heavy sense, not rougher in quality) version of SRV. A very nice album indeed. If you are a fan of Texan style blues. I would very strongly reccomend that you buy this. Just to note, another album of similar quality and vein is by Jay Hooks. Get both cds, you will not be sorry at all.

If you love SRV style texas blues, than this may well be one of the best offerings since SRV's untimely departure. Chambers is certainly influenced by the masters in guitar and vocal stylings, but he does it better than most. Even if this lacks a certain amount of originality, it is a superb texas blues CD from one of the up and coming guitarists.

The best I have listened to in quite some time. I am thrilled. I am still tapping my feet. Great beat, great guitar, great voice. I'm telling all of my friends about this one.

I've been involved in music most of my life; knowing and working with many of the greats of our time and this past week I stumbled upon Sean at a gig and was blown away. He has successfully combined tasteful touches from his favorites with a very instinctive voice all his own. I cannot simplify my review enough but just to say such a performer is rare at best. His 'Strong Temptation' album is a regular in my stereo for fun and has become part of my own practice repertoire; right along with who he lists as influences- the other masters of our time. He will no doubt be influencing some people on his own for years to come.

I just purchased Sean's CD, I was totaly blown away. I'am so glad that theirs someone left to carry on the tradition. If you like rockin blues played with fire & emotion then you will love this CD. Can't wait for the next release.

Totally enjoy this cd. It is a must buy for any blues and rock listener. Basically if you dont listen to blues this cd will turn your head! Also this band is even better live.
