3.0 out of 5 stars Just ok
I have listened better albums than this. The main problem is in the sound. The bass is too high that makes me not like it very much. The tracks are good (most of them but there are no tracks to make the difference. Of course Zakk knows how to play the guitar but the goal is to have a very good result not to just listen him because he is virtuoso guitar player. The...

5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty Metal, February 27, 2010
This review is from: Stronger Than Death (Reis) (Audio CD)
This is solid metal that reminds me of Ozzy, plus everything else good in Metal since then.

Play from beginning to end, and embrace the power chords.

[insert devil sign, tongue, and banging head here]

It's good, in a profane way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stronger Than Death, January 8, 2011
This review is from: Stronger Than Death (Reis) (Audio CD)
`Stronger Than Death' is an excellent album, full of dirty riffs and the occasional solo flourish that raises the hairs on my neck. Saying that I have to admit my favourite track is easily `Just Killing Time' with it's melancholy piano and that incredible sustaining guitar solo towards the end. Zakk may do heavy music, very well, but he showed his real talent on that softer track right there. I love it even more that it is followed by the thumping `Stronger Than Death' with a chugging riff that gets my head bobbing along in no time. Sublime hard and soft in two tracks. If you are a fan of BLS's other albums this should please you and if, like me, this was your first dip into their waters, it will only encourage you to go and try more. Great metal and well worth a try.

Feel free to check out my blog which can be found on my profile page.
