Stronger than Steel is a fantistic book.,

This review is from: Stronger Than Steel: The Wayne Alderson Story (Paperback)
I read this biography in 2 sittings, it's one of the most compelling stories I've ever come across. Sproul shows Alderson's rise in management at a steel mill in Pennsylvania and his implementation of his "value of the person" program for labor/management relations. Alderson's philosophy is perhaps the best method of that I've ever come across. As a warehouse manager, I was greatly moved and am convinced that this is the best way for a company to operate and treat it's employees. This is a must read for all who are in labor and management!
