Examining corporate strategies of multinationals in the light of the globalization of the world economy, this work considers the strategies of multinational corporations within the framework of national economic policies and international co-operation. The authors examine the effects of different policy environments for the management of corporate strategies, analyze the interdependencies between countries and how these operations of multinationals affect these interdependencies. The book addresses the structural consequences of corporate strategies for decision makers shaping fiscal, monetary, financial, trade, industrial, foreign investment and competition policies.
