Very good explanations for LRFD equations,
By M. A. Adnan (Lahore, Pakistan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Structural Stability: Theory Implementation (Paperback)
This book is a must in order to understand how the equations in the AISC LRFD specifications were developed. The book is easy to understand (only basic mechanics of materials, some calculus and ordinary differential equations background is required).

Excellent book on buckling of structures,

This review is from: Structural Stability: Theory Implementation (Paperback)
I used this book to prepare for exams in a graduate course in buckling. I highly recommend it to graduate students in structural engineering. Lots of details on methods used to determine buckling loads. A bit weak on computer methods, but those can be found in Chen's book on semi-rigid frames.
