I used this book for an MBA class where it was recommended by the professor. The book consists of in-depth analysis of 14 industries in America including agriculture, petroleum, cigarettes, beer, music recording, airlines, health care, college sports, and a number of others. I have not read all of the chapters but have read enough to get a good sense of the book. The analysis is thorough, informative, and well written.

If you want to read about these industries and don't have access to college databases, this is a very good book. If, however, this book is recommended but not required for a college class I would not buy it. In the end I found that the University database had more information and the purchase of this expensive book was rather unnecessary.

The book was in excellent condition as stated, and it arrived in a timely fashion!
