This review is from: Structure Elucidation by NMR in Organic Chemistry: A Practical Guide (Paperback)
I purchased this item when I was in the middle of my master studies. My course was organic synthesis. NMR spectroscopy is quite advanced in this field. I was expecting a guide about the steps one has to take to evaluate an NMR spectra an conclude to a structure. Or at least a discussion, a plan one should set up to organize all the possible information collected through NMR spectra. When I received the book I realized I was about one year ahead of the level of information it could supply me with. It is a great book for undergraduate studies, or for students/scientists who won't come across complicated structures. I would say it is for begginers in organic chemistry (as it contains many unsolved problems, so it's great for practice) and advanced students in other fiels.
