Acceptable, if you don't enjoy learning,

This review is from: Structured Cobol Programming/the Wiley Cobol Syntax Reference Guide (Paperback)
This book did not teach me much. The only thing that taught me anything was the little 75 page syntax reference that came with the book. The little guide condensed all the knowledge for me so I could read it and understand instead of read, read, read and try again because I fell asleep the first time.In conclusion I would like to say that this book is great if you're a hardcore COBOL fan. I happen to not be. But if you really like COBOL so much you probably already know it. Then this book won't teach you anything anyways. |
