About the Artist

Papa Roach is a decidedly accurate name. The band has tenaciously survived numerous shifts in the musical landscape. This resilience can be heard in Jacoby Shaddix’s vein-popping howl, which is a vessel of reassurance and camaraderie. The band’s music is a ferocious sonic barrage. Their lyrics upend such difficult topics as alcoholism, suicide, and soured relationships. Papa Roach is ultimately a cathartic device that reciprocates the passions, concerns, and energy of their fans. Trends and bands may come and go, but Papa Roach is still here.

This album is a fine tribute to Papa Roach, it gives a touch of class to Papa Roach's normal hardcore feel.
However, I will say that, as far as tributes go, The Vitamin String Quartet does more justice to the songs that they cover.
Although Perfect Murder does a decent job, they also lack intensity in certain sections of this album
