This microphone does work well. It provides good, clear audio even when the wearer speaks very softly. The downside is that if your neck is too slim it doesn't get good contact and therefore doesn't pick up any sound at all. I wish it had an adjustable strap instead of the hard plastic supports but so long as your neck is thick enough this mic should do the job well.

I ordered this, and another version. Neither of them worked well at all. They drop anywhere from every other to every third word.

I ordered this under the asumption that it came with multiple adapters for multiple brands of walkie talkies however it only works for the motorola brands not midland like i have. However after buying some motorola's the headset works great for paintballing.
