Cork is a bad idea, February 26, 2010

Was intrigued by the idea of the cork on this bag and then was horribly disappointed to receive it, open the box, and notice that the cork layering on the outside of the bag was cracked along the folds of the leather. Do not bother. The cork obviously would not hold up to actual use if it couldn't last through shipment to me in it's original packaging without being touched. Would have expected much better from Stuart Weitzman, and of any bag at this suggested retail price.
