I am the proud author of this book and I'm so happy to have helped all the women who've read it. As any writer knows, putting your work out there is a bit like birthing a baby. In fact it took me 9 months from the day I started putting it all down on paper until I had the book in hand, and my first interview came on Labor Day. This book has now picked up four awards: International Book Award: Best Self-Help Relationships, International Book Award Finalist: Best New Non-Fiction, National Indie Excellence Award: Best Self-Help, and USA Best Book Finalist Award: Self-Help Relationships. This book is great for any woman who knows what it's like to feel stuck in a questionable relationship, but it's also great for anyone with Mr. Right who feels things need a bit of a boost, and for young women tired of attracting the wrong guys. My intention is for all women who read it to come to the end feeling like the leading lady in their own life story, instead of the supporting player, propping up someone else at the expense of herself. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.

This book should be distributed to every battered womans shelter and domestic abuse victim and survivor. This book is easily read and understood. It made me realize that I do not deserve certain behaviors in my spouse. It was a wake up call and is helping me change the course of my life and that of my daughters also. For 16.95 this book will empower all battered, abused, and disrespected women to make a change for the better in their life.The Best investment I have ever made.
Amy O'Brien thoroughly entertained me with her book Stuck with Mr. Wrong. This book is loaded with tons of practical advice, sprinkled with poignant stories, and excellent references to relevant movies - it was so compelling I couldn't put it down. I had the book finished in a weekend. Amy is a captivating writer, and I would recommend any woman to read this book who is looking to improve her choice in men. You will be so pleased you chose to read this book.

You don't have to be stuck with Mr. Wrong (you may even be enjoying life with Mr. Right) to still enjoy this engaging and empowering read from Ms. O'Brien. The premise is clever - look at yourself and your actions (or non-actions) as if you were an audience member watching yourself (the heroine) in a movie. Would the audience pull for you, would they agree with what you (the heroine) were saying or doing in a given situation or would they be groaning and moaning at the screen - "no don't do it, stand up for yourself, don't let him get away with that"... Looking at your life and your actions through this lens is a fun and insightful exercise - one Ms. O'Brien discovered when she was stuck in her own Mr. Wrong relationship and that she walks us through with humor and compassion, step by step, on a real journey to becoming the true star of your own life story.
