Product Description

Wanted -- An Orgasm... and the chance to fulfill all her sexual fantasies.

Madison believes she's frigid. Her ex told her so and maybe it's true, because there's one thing she's never experienced. An orgasm! Now she wants it all. So when her mother rings Stud Finders Incorporated and hires a stud for her to practice on, why look a gift horse in the mouth?

Jake's ex-lover said he was boring, both in bed and out. So when sexy Madison asks him to teach her to have an orgasm, he jumps at the chance to prove his manhood. Even if it means hiding the fact that the purpose of Stud Finders Incorporated is to find the studs behind the wallboards of a building so the owner can safely hang his paintings.

3.0 out of 5 stars Stud Finders Incorporated, February 18, 2008
When Madison's good intentioned mother looks in the classified ads to find her a man, Jake is drawn into several misunderstandings. Madison was in a very bad marriage for years, but now that she is free, and her mom finds out she has missed out on a lot of important physical pleasures in life, she contacts Stud Finders for help.

Jake takes a service call for his father to help out, but never expects what he walks into when he arrives at Madison's house. It is a comedy of errors when they have their first conversation. Since both feel they need help in the sex dept, Jake agrees to tutor Madison.

This is a good story full of several funny moments. I liked both characters that are flawed and on the rebound, but didn't feel the chemistry.

5.0 out of 5 stars STUD FINDERS INCORPORATED is a feel good story that readers will enjoy from beginning to end., January 15, 2007
Madison has practically reinvented herself since the divorce. She's gone from a frumpy overweight housewife to a beautiful woman. Only all the changes she's made have been on the outside, mentally she still struggles to see herself as attractive. She had a whole list for a makeover and so far has achieved every goal except for two. Her flamboyant mother calls STUD FINDERS INCORPORATED to help her achieve one of her goals . . . a gorgeous guy to have sex with and prove she's not frigid.

Jake is an attorney with sexual issues of his own. His ex-girlfriend of seven years said he was boring - both in and out of bed. He's just helping his dad out when he agrees to go to Madison's home to find the studs in her walls. He wasn't expecting to actually be the stud. It's an opportunity he won't be able to resist.

Madison's embarrassed that her mother found her makeover list. It wouldn't have been so bad if Rosa hadn't chosen to read part of it out loud. Of course, she focused on the most humiliating point - that after ten years of marriage, Madison has never experienced an orgasm. That's a slight Rosa intends to fix. She'd already called STUD FINDERS INCORPORATED to arrange for a stud for Madison. In Rosa's opinion there's no such thing as a frigid woman, therefore, Clifton the crud is obviously a lousy lover. Jake can't believe what he's hearing when he arrives to find the stud in Madison's wall and realizes that she's not worried about hanging pictures. Instead of being honest and explaining the purpose of STUD FINDERS INCORPORATED, Jake decides to allow her to believe that he's a stud for hire. Madison needs a man to help her prove she isn't frigid, finally achieving an orgasm would be a bonus. Jake needs to rebuild his self-esteem, especially if he intends to get back into the dating game. Being Madison's stud could have benefits for both of them. Now all he needs to do is figure out how to go from dud to stud without her finding out.

STUD FINDERS INCORPORATED is a feel good story that readers will enjoy from beginning to end. Madison's mother is wonderfully outrageous and great fun to picture in your mind. She's one of those women that just never seem to age. Jake and Madison are both warm, friendly people who have suffered a blow to their self esteem. In a comical chain of events, they find love with each other, even before Madison learns what an actual stud finder really is. Alexis Fleming does an amazing job with this story and the characters. Each one of them is memorable, including the ex-husband. This is a delightful story I'd highly recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Charming, Sexy, and Readable Book, August 10, 2007
Charming tale of two people on the rebound who are brought together by the ditzy mom of the heroine, Madison. When Mom finds out that her daughter has never had an orgasm, even after ten years of (a very bad, and very over) marriage, she looks in -- what else? -- the local classified ads to help her out. Mom finds Stud Finders Incorporated, and, since she's looking for a stud for her daughter to practice on, contacts them.

Jake, a tall, good-looking lawyer who is doing a favor for his dad by taking this service call, calls on Madison, and embarks on one of the cutest tangled conversations since Abbott & Costello's "Who's on First?". When Jake finally figures out what Madison is REALLY talking about, he almost straightens things out then and there, but it turns out that Jake, too, recently was dumped, and the words burning in his brain are "You're boring, Jake, both in bed and out." He knows he shouldn't take advantage of the gorgeous (recently made-over) Madison, but between her natural good looks and sexiness, and his own need to prove to himself that he isn't boring in bed, he decides to be the stud Madison is looking for. He even goes to the bookstore and loads up on appropriate self-help books. (My favorite was "The How-To of Female Orgasm" -- if only!)

The story that brings them together is both funny and sexy, and features a couple of secondary characters that really bring depth and humor to the story. All in all, this is a cute, fun to read, sexy book, with very few (if any) grammatical, punctuation, spelling, or homophone errors.

By the way, I would have given this book 4.5 stars if I could have, rather than the 4 stars I actually gave it. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that there were just a few too many "coincidences" to make the plot seem real, so, instead, I took the book in the spirit I believe it was intended: Light, humorous, charming, sexy, well-written and fun to read.

I really recommend "Stud Finders Incorporated".
