Review
"Petrie and Denson have written an excellent text for use in a freshman seminar course for student athletes. The text does an excellent job of introducing a broad spectrum of issues that intercollegiate student athletes face during their university experience."
"The level of material is presented in a way that is suitable to a broad range of academic ability. It is not intellectualized to be threatening to the under-prepared student, yet is not insulting to the higher academic achiever."
