I love this bible, I love the color, it's so fun. It doesn't seem to be as durable as other leather covers, but it works fine for me. As to the other reviewer ....look at the picture before buying next time, it's pretty much exactly what you get (this is definitely a girls bible:)

I bought this Bible based on the title itself along with the
description that a nice leather cover was there ....I bought the Bible for a Marine soldier on active duty who is also my grandson. I was not impressed with the light mint green color of the leather cover...so did not mail it to him for Xmas ....sent him a pre-paid long distance card instead. I guess that I should not have assumed the Bible would have a "normal" color for the leather covering. You could help by telling the buyer the color choices upfront or at least ask if it is for a male vs female recipient.
