The first 16 pages are helpful (if pedestrian) ideas for using the pages.

The next few are examples of student work. Your children will vary.

The last nearly-one-hundred pages are notebook pages, which can be copied for one child, but not for the rest of your family. That makes the book a bit inconvenient for larger families. The first 52 pages are USA themed writing pages, and the remaining ones include maps, timelines, pages for questions and quotes, vocabulary pages, states and capitals, presidents, etc.

All in all, this is a nice resource, but the lack of permission to copy it within a family is a negative. It can be used for ideas, however, since a short search on the internet and a few minutes on a word processing program would probably allow anyone to make their own notebook. There are a few minor religious references which can be ignored if you choose.
