Interesting topic made boring.,

This review is from: Student Solutions Manual for Blanchard/Devaney/Hall's Differential Equations, 3rd (Paperback)
This book was developed from concepts used to teach D.E. that was supported by the National Science Foundation. So you would expect that this book would be the best, right? This book seems to have been written by a chatty person who is so long winded that they go on and on without adding much useful info. For example, the section I am currently working on has ~20 pages of reading before you can start the HW problems. This book lacks any concept of usability since the examples and concepts are not clearly separated. Everything runs together in a jumble. For example, in chapter 3, the authors hid Euler's formula for complex e' values but immediately spend another 1/2 page discussing the concept of e, pi, and i which are not that important in the section. This book was a poor attempt by mathematicians to write a math book to read like a novel.
Since most students don't have the choice of which textbook to use, for students studying differential equations using this book, I would recommend use of the internet and a good tutor.

Do not waste your money on this solutions manual!,

This so-called "Solutions Manual" only has solutions to the odd-numbered problems, which you can find in the back of the textbook itself. How pathetic can the publisher be to try to rip off poor students who are already broke.

If you have an instructor like mine who does not like to cover all the minor details of this subject, you need this solutions manual to show you how to do the hw problems. It's worth the money but try to get a used one if you can.

So i really hate this book... it give maybe one example of certain concepts and they are not even that descriptive. i might just be use to my other math books... but coming from a girl who is a math major, i would stay away!!!
