Designed to accompany Physics, 8th Edition by John D. Cutnell, which was made for medical professionals who may struggle with making the leap to conceptual understanding and applying physics, the eighth edition continues to build transferable problem-solving skills. It includes a set of features such as Analyzing-Multiple-Concept Problems, Check Your Understanding, Concepts & Calculations, and Concepts at a Glance. This helps the reader to first identify the physics concepts, then associate the appropriate mathematical equations, and finally to work out an algebraic solution.

2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible Student Solutions Manual June 9, 2010
By a bolg
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This manual is lousy, it seems to have every other odd question's answer, these answers are to the questions one isn't assigned or to questions that aren't that hard. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worthless September 16, 2010
By JLM
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Not a solutions manual! Only a handful of solutions per chapter. For example Chapter 1 in the Textbook has 69 problems and the solutions manual only has 16 of them. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money!! December 3, 2009
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This solutions manual is a terrible companion to the book. It offers good explanations but only for a few of the problems each chapter. It's a big book because of the ridiculous font size and spacing. Students beware.

2.0 out of 5 stars Missing problems May 18, 2011
By Bob S
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This solutions manual doesn't have enough problems listed. With that being said it is a toss-up if you should buy. I had mine and didn't use it but once in a while. I believe that a solution manual should have 50% of the problems. This book had about 25% of the problems. Example- Chapter One problems: 3, 7, 11, 13, 21, 23, 25, 31, 35, 39, 43, 45, 53, 59, 63, 65 (16/69) = 23%. This is a tough subject, so it may benifit some to buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars student solution manual to accompany physics March 3, 2011
By Grace
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
One out every fourth odd questions answered. The book is a two volume book and the solution manual encompasis both volumes, so I have all the solutions from volume one that I do not need. It is a terrible book.
