When they say "selected solutions" they mean it. I'm not talking about only having the odd problems or just the even problems. I'm talking about having sometimes only a handful of problems for a huge chapter - none of which help you to figure out how to do your assigned problems. You'll spend time opening it and searching for a problem you're doing and most likely NEVER finding what you need. This book is not worth the paper it's printed on. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it - it won't help you. And if you have it, don't sell it and pass the pain to others, just burn it for heat or something - maybe then it will have some use.

Author of this book only picks out a few selected problems to show detailed answers for. Most of the filler in this book is simple examples of ideas that are reruns of ideas presented in the text...
