If you have version 11, stay with it. It works. RefManager 12 on my machine (Dell notebook, 6 months old, dual processor, Windows XP) has problems. If I search (F4) on an author name, sometimes it finds references, sometimes not. It cannot find me, which is really aggravating, even though there 104 records in my database with my name on them. There seems to be no pattern or reason to which authors can be found and which cannot. In the Search window, if I use key presses to get to the search time I want, like Author, it usually crashes after the second or third key press, sometimes after the first one. I have uninstalled and reinstalled RefManager several times, rebuilt the database several times, all to no avail. The small enhancements in version 12 are not worth the aggravation.
