This book is great for school for your test during the week and clinials and great to use for your national exam. Some of the questions are from the book is worded like that in the national exam.

Most likely you're buying this book because you are about to take an EMT course. Good for you, the world needs people like that. Anyways, while the used prices make look enticing, most instructors prefer, if not insist on a new textbook - because the answers for some problems may already be filled in. And it's really not that much more (as of this writing). If you do buy used, ask the seller first if it's blank.
Pros: Good questions, with a variety of styles (nomenclature, critical thinking, matching and multiple choice). And the answers are in the back - for every problem. So its pretty difficult to screw up. Cons: Let me know if you find any. Overall: A most likely necessary addition to the textbook. One review made allusions to a CD. The CD comes with the textbook, not this book. And just because the answers are in the back, don't go and fill in all the answers from there, you'll be doing yourself a great disservice. Do the work, pass the class, save lives. |
