Review
There is no doubt that this dictionary would be an invaluable addition to all psychology students' bookshelves for reference...It is extremely well-presented, gives straighforward explanations of a comprehensive range of psychological language, including statistics, and its cross-referenceing is impressively thorough. (review of the 3rd edition) -- The Lecturer 19991001 This is an excellent resource for students and practitioners alike. This book should be on every psychologist's bookshelf. (Review of a previous edition) -- Robert J. Sternberg 19920701 This is a very accessible publication, it is well presented, with illustrations to clarify difficult points. (review of a previous edition -- Reference Reviews 19890901 the book is a boon for serious students and an ideal companion for examination revision. The authors are to be congratulated on producing such a comprehensive dictionary, which also includes a very useful list of those spelling and grammatical errors which can so easily destroy the meaning of written work. -- The Lecturer 20050505
