5.0 out of 5 stars A former insiders' view, December 26, 2004
This review is from: The Student's Federal Career Guide: 10 Steps to Find and Win Top Government Jobs and Internships(Book+CD) (Paperback)
This book contains a lot of useful information for high school and college students (at all degree levels) who are considering working for their country or who are interested in combining their educational experience with work experiences in federal agencies. Kathryn and Emily have provided a lot of information about how the federal hiring process works. Perhaps more importantly they also have provided in one easy-to-find place information about internships and work-study opportunities available through many federal agencies. Their book is a great resource for exploring what the largest employer in the US has to offer. I recently retired after working for 37 years in Federal Human Resources, and have not seen a better book on this subject.
