Turabian's style is not perfect and it cannot cover every single situation. There are many styles of writing papers, and it seems like Kate Turabian believes that her way is superior than other methods.

Her methods are also very confusing and frustrating. There are many styles of writing out there, so we actually do not need another one. The students should have freedom to choose which methods they would like to use, allowing the students to explore better methods after another. Turabian's style actually limits the students' ideas and potentials.
