5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible
Actually i can summarize this book with only 1 word: Incredible
This is the book can save a life, This book provides everything to pass the exams (of course you should have the main book too) I strongly recommand this book to the students who have some problems with Calculus 101.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not to be used with the Alternate Edition
I bought this book assuming it was the solution guide to the Alternate Edition book (since Amazon.com had it listed as the solutions manual for the Alternate Edition) but it is completely different problems. This is to accompany ONLY the 10th Edition.

3.0 out of 5 stars NOTE: NOT THE SAME AS THE EARLY TRANSCENDENTALS VERSION, February 10, 2005
I just wanted to warn students and teachers alike - this answer manual is ONLY to be used with the Thomas' Calculus "10th Edition."

DO NOT BUY THIS if you're looking for the answers to "Thomas Calculus: Early Transcendentals, Updated 10th Edition."

Midway through chapter 5, the answer book and the Calculus book go different directions. From that point on, the answers are very different.

...I learned this, sourly, while trying to review for a midterm. Any Amazon officials who come across this message might see fit to put this information in the book's description.

3.0 out of 5 stars Helpful, December 11, 2002

The solutions manual is helpful IF you already know what you are doing for the most part. The explanations are sometimes step-by-step, but many of them are not. This manual does not "hold your hand" like some of the others that I've had experience with.

I would still recommend purchasing this book because of its low price.

3.0 out of 5 stars Thomas' Calculus 10th Students Solutions Manual Part 1, July 5, 2005
The manual has alot of mistakes in last part of chapter 2 and in chap 3. The numbers do not match the problems in the book, and some oare odd and some are evens, not logical reasoning for it, plus they left put to whole sections in chap 2 (2.8,2.9). I was not very pleased with the manual.
