Student's Solutions Manual Review,
This review is from: Student's Solutions Manual to accompany Calculus: Early Transcendental Functions (Paperback)
This book was really useful in general. The only bad thing is that it only contains the answers to the odd problems. However, the explanations for these problems were very easy to understand. I recommend the book to everyone.

I don't know why the other reviewers gave this book a 5 star ratings. Let me go over the quick points:
1) The solutions are not thorough whatsoever. Lots of skipped steps. 2) No text explanations for hard problems, just the math (with skipped steps). 3) More than a few problems are just wrong. Plain wrong. (I'm not making this up.) and the MOST ANNOYING THING: 4) There are some pages that are misprinted! A handful of pages (I used up to Chapter 10 for Calc I and Calc II) were printed twice in the wrong location. For example, the content on page, let's say, 45 will be on page 45 and again on page 47 or later on page 51. Clearly, the problems that are supposed to be on pp 47 or 51 are not the same as those worked out on p45. The thing is, the guide was just missing that content. Not the pages. There was indeed a page 47 and a page 51, just the same content as page 45. (I'm just using these page numbers as examples. I don't remember the actual page numbers. But I'm telling you, in my guide this happened at least three or four times at crucial problems.) This guide was of little to no use. I hate that I got suckered into buying it thinking it would clear up calculus. Fortunately, the book it goes to is actually quite good. I ended up relying on Internet resources and my TI-89 Titanium more than I should've. Oh, and one more thing: the pages fall out of the book very easily, especially around the halfway point. Waste of paper in every way.
