Pros: Very stylish design. The speaker stands put the sound near ear level and also free up desk space. The two extra shelves means that the small profile doesn't lack for storage surface. Although it took a while, the assembly was simple enough for one person to do and the desk is easier to move around than some wood behemoth. The back of the main shelf easily holds a 23" widescreen monitor, and could probably hold a 25". The base can hold a subwoofer that's around 14" on a side. The built-in CD racks are useful if you have 10 or fewer frequently-used disks, though they're too small for the DVD cases that more and more software is packaged in.

Cons: The instruction manual calls Part #18 a Phillips screw, when they're Allen. I only figured this out after buying some replacements at a hardware store and having these "other screws" left over at the end- fortunately the assembly is easily reversible. The cable collar is a joke- only 1/4 of the cover irises open for use, which would work fine for a few USB connections if they're fed through one at a time, but not much else (I wound up leaving it out). No beveled edges to the shelves, and they become quite irritating if you rest your hands/wrists against them for more than a minute or two. It's probably not a gamer's desk unless you put the keyboard on the main shelf next to the mouse (which cuts out about 30% of the free space in front), as opposed to the keyboard tray. A small triangular footprint means that it's got a bit of wobble to it.

Yeah, that's a lot of Cons compared to Pros, but most of them are niggles that don't detract enough to give it only 3 stars.

Overall I like this desk a lot. It easily fits my 27" Samsung monitor and could easily fit a 27" iMac as well.

It fits nicely in the corner which is great since we don't have much space in our apartment.

The reason I'm rating this 3 stars though is because if the keyboard tray. That thing is annoying as heck.

Most keyboard trays for desks have a sortof locking mechanism so the tray doesn't slide back in when you type/mouse. This one doesn't have that so I'm constantly having to pull it back out...and I'm not a furious typer...it just moves too easily!

Also the tray doesn't come out very far at all. My keyboard is maybe 80% exposed (if I want wrist support on the tray) which is annoying.

I'll be replacing the tray slides with better ones that lock and go out further soon.

Our apartment flooded during Hurricane Sandy, and we feared that we could never replace the great corner computer desk that we had purchased on clearance years ago... But here it is, essentially, with a few minimal upgrades that make it even better than the original. Super easy to assemble, and very sturdy. Would buy it again, but hope we won't have to-

With this corner desk I was able to gain a little more space. I'm used to assembling my own products so I had no problems (took about 45 min.)

Very happy with this desk. I have a 24" monitor and it fits fine, 27" monitor should also be ok. I bought this as I have equipment on 2 walls and wanted the desk with computer in the corner between. The speaker stands are can be adjusted easily, my speakers fit nicely and the there is room for the subwoofer next to the computer below. The desk looks good and I have gotten compliments from everyone who has seen it.

When assembling this desk (which is fairly easy) I very foolishly damaged the main desk top. I called Studio Designs and without any issue they sent me a replacement right away free of charge. I really appreciate their good service and others can expect if they have any issues that Studio Designs will take care of them based on my experience.

I want to note that the black portion has a texture to it and it is not just the plain wood veneer. This was a nice surprise because it hold liquids way better than the one I had before that had the surface with the typical compress wood and plain wood veneer. It is sturdy, easy for just one person to assemble and looks elegant.

Awesome engineering, easy to build, and sturdy. Saves so much room for my laptop, my ps4, my ps3, and i even put another monitor on it. Easy to put together and the material is extremely study for something in this price range.

The end result was a beautiful computer desk.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the instructions were terrible and it took about 3 hours to put together, and that's with my husband being mechanically inclined.
Moving to a small apartment made it impractical for my old horizontal computer desk, and the Arch Tower worked out wonderfully (being vertical).
It looks sleek and modern, holds everything it needs to hold, plus some. I was able to put the tower, router, modem, keyboard, speakers and monitor all where they should be and still had room for my knickknacks.
One side note, I have an ergonomic wireless keyboard and it will not fit on the slide out keyboard tray. Its just a tad too big, but my kids just put it in front of the monitor and it works fine.
I would recommend this for anyone who is short on space, or just wants something other than the traditional computer desk.
