5.0 out of 5 stars You wouldn't know by looking at it...., January 11, 1999

This review is from: The Study of American Folklore: An Introduction (4th Edition) (Hardcover)
that this was actually a good book. My professor made us purchase this for a foklore class. He told us that it was not all that exciting, but I beg to differ. I found this to be an excellent leisure reading book as well as an excellent textbook for class. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in folklore.

Had to order this book for my Folklore & Folklife class I am taking. Gives a very good overview on "folklore", and is definitely an easy read for everyone. It is a textbook, so it's not the most interesting thing in the world but is still very helpful.
