I highly recommend getting this study aid, because not only does it contain quizzes, questions, and diagrams for you to fill, but also it is a blessing when you don't have the time to read a whole chapter in the text (they can be lengthy). The study guide contains an abridged version of each chapter, which saved me a few times, plus it's a slightly different take on the same subject, which can help if you have trouble understanding something in the text.

Very helpful companion to text. Repetition, repetition, repetition, you know, they say is the key to the kind of learning necessary for this class.

Outline reviews provided good reinforcement of chapter information - CD attached brought concepts to interaction - less cost than retail - very useful as a second book to help strengthen concepts taught in classroom

First before I buy this guide I had to read every single chapter from the book, it took me hours and hours to finish one chapter. After I saw the reviews on this study guide, I though it would be a good method to enhance my understanding for the material. but after I got it, it was a release for me, since I stopped reading the chapters from the book, and all my studying was from this study guide. And it really did a great job to make me understand the material. I reccommand this guide for everybody, specially those who has stupid and dumb professors such as mine. Even if u have a good teacher, this will make u understand the material even more.

This lab book really helped me to understand genetics and helped me to study for an exam. I even let other student use the book in group study.This book was a excellent source of information.

the book is quite new
however the writing is not only on 1st chapter but also on some other chapters
but anyway, it's still very nice!
