I recently took the OCN exam. I started out trying to read the huge core curriculum book....impossible! For one thing, it is in outline form. Forget it! What worked for me was using this book to find areas I needed to learn more about. I went through the entire book circling the answers I got wrong, studied weak areas using other sources, then back another time to see if I could get the answers right a second time through. I found the questions to be very similar to the ones on the actual test so I do recommend it.

Very Helpful product for studying for the OCN! I just took the test and passed...and all I studied was this book! The questions in the book were very similar to the ones on the test, and the book gave a good overview of all the areas you need to learn. I would recommend this to anyone needing a good study book for OCN! Good luck!

This is a helpful book with test questions, what would have made it 5 stars would have been a CD rom.

If your looking for a book to help with your OCN exam this is the one to get. The book is broken down logically in a similar format to the OCN exam and the answers are followed by an explanation. Do every question in the book and understand the answer and you should pass.

I passed the OCN exam today. This book was the only study material I used. I was at a disadvantage in that I am not exposed to chemo related knowledge in the course of my daily duties.Knowing normal lab values and this book gave me the facts I needed to know to pass. I,too would have liked a CD ROM with several practice tests. Best of luck to you!

This was invaluable for study of OCN exam. ONS wrote the exam questions and this is their study guide. I really liked that they gave the rationale behind why an answer was right or wrong. I would not have passed without this resource!

If you are preparing for the OCN exam, then you should definitely buy this Study Guide. I highly recommend that you buy this and the actual Core Curriculum book so you can go through the questions in this Study Guide and review the Core book for points that you don't understand.

I would recommend this study guide to anyone that is getting ready for the OCN Certification. The questions in this book are written quite similar to the test and was a tremendous help when it came to studying. YEA I passed......AAAA++++ for this book

This was very helpful. I passed my certification exam on the first attempt with the help of this book. It was helpful getting used to the questions and the explanation with the answer was great.

Excellent review source, thousands of questions. Was very helpful when I took my OCN (and passed with highest scores). Some of the questions came right out of this review or was answered by the rationales in the book. This was the only review material I used (had the core curriculum book to clarify one or two items but didn't study from it). Would highly recommend.
