I purchased this book for my maternity nursing class and was pleased to find it was a well written and easily navigable book. Potential nursing diagnosis are listed throughout the book to correspond with the topic being covered. An additional aid that I really liked was the sample care plans throughout the book. They serve as a great springboard to a personalized care plan for clinicals. Overall, this book is certainly a worthwhile text.

Finally, a user-friendly textbook for nursing! Thorough and well-organized. Excellent care plan help!

The book is not easy too read. It is very informative, however. The authors should use less acronyms. Sometimes whole sentences are full of acronyms and it is just too hard to keep track of them.

I am not a rich nursing student and I must get the cheaper, old editions of my text books. I got this one and it flowed really well. The later version has a few updates,info boxes, and new colors, yet I find the same in the older versions text. I highly recommend this edition as an economical alternative.

This study guide is really, really a joke! I mean people in my class that have used it actually laugh at how absurd it is. The fill in the blanks are useless and the critical thinking exercises are typical filler. The fill in the blanks are like this, " The _________, ___________, and ____________ are ____________ or ______________ when there is a ____________, ______________, or __________ crying.

I bought this book because it is required by the college. Amazon offers good deals on books that are very pricey at the college book store. Will do business again.

It was brand new and at the best price I could find. All the info and procedures are up-to-date, and it is a good read.

This text is well organized and has good content, but the explanations are a bit complicated and harder to wrap the mind around than others. If this text is part of a class, be ready to ask the professor to clarify the reading.

I ordered this book and really did not need to because the Wong book has the same material. But I have been using this book and find it easy to read. I think it is the PN level, but is a good review. This study guide used with the Wong study guide is good because it presents the material in 2 different formats. This helps me to look at the material in 2 ways.
