I'm about halfway through my maternity rotation and reading through the associated material and I've discovered that it is one of the most redundant textbooks I've yet encountered in my nursing school career. It also has an abundance of editing mistakes; so many that our professors have created a discussion board where we can mention these mistakes and they can confirm them. The mistakes range from minute flaws like "ml" instead of "mL" to referencing nursing care plans that are non-existent in the text. I am disappointed that my program has chosen such a poor text book and I can't wait to be done with it.

This book was a great help to me, if you need a extra help with maternity nursing this guide is a great help

Every nursing class is different, but this was not useful for my exams. I stopped looking at it midway through the semester, as it was superfluous information that never appeared on the exams.

My order was processed just last night and I received it before noon today! The shrink-wrap is a little messy but no harm caused to the book so I'm happy. =]
