The Best Nursing Study Guide I've Used,

I have often been frustrated by "study guides," left with the feeling that I didn't really get value for my money . . . the same can not be said for this study guide. Answers are given at the back, but more important the answers come with rationals that help to truly "OWN" the concept. Buy it or wish you had later.

Some of the questions in here are outrageous compared to what I read in the textbook. Stuff that was stated in only a sentence or two in the textbook would have really in depth questions in this study guide. I only use the multiple choice questions. The rest is kind of useless for me because we don't have anything other than multiple choice on our tests in class. A lot of times I don't even bother using this.

I started to use this by using the labeling diagrams. The labeling lines don't point to the correct areas. The are too long or too short. Mosby needs to hire some good proofreaders.Also, there are word searches. Who has time to do a word search when all you really want to do is state the term being described. You know it but now you have to find it in a puzzle. Hmmmm. Maybe if the had a Sudoku puzzle to help me learn lab values. I put this book in the "waste of time and money" pile.
