Condition: Used: Good
Comment: Includes both paperback books (volume 1 and 2) and the hard outer case. The hard outer case is in acceptable condition. The books are in very good condition. Ranked as Good as a medium between the two. Case shows moderate to heavy wear to surfaces, edges, and corners including scratches, indentations, surface tearing, rubbing / fading, fraying of corners, and other general wear. Despite the heavy wear, the case is still strong and not falling apart and has done it's job well because... Covers of both books show very mild wear to surfaces, edges, corners, and the outer edges of the closed pages. This wear includes some very light scratches and very mild indentations. There is a crumpling / bending noticed to each spine, but not a full crease. Pages of each book are yellowing some from age but are clean and there are no markings noticed upon several scans of each book. Overall this book set is in good condition.

Knew nothing about Arnold Toynbee, until I watched a program on NETFLIX, about the Toynbee plaques. Very intriquing and weird. Please do research on these plaques, and read what Toynbee has to say (meaning in his books, and why he's mentioned or even referenced for that matter) It's interesting, but weird or strange to say the least. I've always been one to learn about "histories mysteries" and this is just another example of an open mind that I have.....enjoy!
